BUCCAL FAT REMOVAL TREATMENT

Buccal fat removal is a relatively quick and straightforward procedure that takes about one hour. During a buccal fat removal, Dr. Brown will access the inside of your cheek, make a small incision, extract the fat, and close the wound with dissolvable stitches.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT TAKE?

Buccal fat removal is a fairly simple procedure that can be completed in about 30-minutes. It can be performed on its own or alongside another procedure. It can be done in the office under local anesthesia and anti-anxiety medication or under general anesthesia in the operating room.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
