CHIN AUGMENTATION PROCEDURE
During a chin augmentation, Scottsdale board-certified top plastic surgeon Dr. Richard J. Brown will place a tiny incision under your chin. He will then insert a safe silicone implant overlying your chin bone. You will work with Dr. Brown to pre-select your implant before surgery to ensure optimal results for your particular facial structure.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT TAKE?
Dr. Brown’s chin augmentation is typically performed under general anesthesia and takes one hour complete. It will take longer if it is in conducted alongside another procedure like a facelift.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
After a chin augmentation, your chin may be taped to reduce any discomfort and swelling. For the initial few days after surgery, you’ll need to rest and allow your body time to properly heal. Although you’ll be required to refrain from vigorous exercise for six weeks, you’ll be able to return to work within a few days to a week.
